Blueprint Recruitment are working alongside a leading Tier 1 Water contractor who are on the lookout for 2 experienced Civil Site Managers to join their Team on a long-term contract basis. Located in Sheffield and surrounding areas, this position is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of Water AMP7 & AMP 8 Water Treatment projects and the ideal candidate will have a strong Civils background.

Our client:

Our client is a multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company working in the water and wastewater industry. The specialise in delivering solutions across the Civil and MEICA spectrum and operate framework contracts with several UK Water companies.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure all works are undertaken with consideration of the needs of the clients and travelling public
• Manage, supervise, and mentor the site team as appropriate
• Maintain and promote cost conscious management by using resources efficiently
• Ensure realistic scheme programmes are prepared, reviewed and updated
• Prepare, review and brief method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are updated
• Ensure all “as constructed” records are provided to the CDMC for inclusion within the Health and Safety File in a timely manner following scheme completion

Key requirements:

• Recognised Civil Engineering/ Site Management qualifications
• Experience in the Water/ Wastewater treatment industry
• IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate
• CSCS Site Manager (Minimum requirement)
• First Aid at work
• Temporary Works Coordinator & Confined Spaces Training (Desirable)
