Blueprint Recruitment are searching for a skilled Site Manager to join a leading energy company on a contract basis in South Wales. Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations on a 132kV Substation project. This is a full-time, site-based role requiring expertise in civils and power infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all on-site activities to meet project deadlines.
• Oversee health and safety standards in line with HSG47 and other industry regulations.
• Ensure compliance with SR163, TP137, and Temporary Works standards.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflows.
• Prepare site reports, manage budgets, and ensure quality assurance.
• Handle site issues proactively to minimize project risks and delays.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in site management within the civils and power sectors.
• Experience managing on National Grid sites.
• Valid certifications: SMSTS, First Aid, Temporary Works Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, including SR163, HSG47, and TP137.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work full-time on site and manage multiple priorities effectively.
