Structural Design Engineer required!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a Structural Design Engineer to join a leading Engineering Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Oxford. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in the creation of buildings and be responsible for a variety of technical tasks, whilst managing clients and building new positive relations.

Our client is a respected Consultancy who specialises in offering high quality Engineering and Building Surveying services, across a wide range of sectors, including, Education, Transport, Infrastructure and Commercial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing teams and clients to deliver varying scale projects
• Lead multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion, within budget and to programme
• Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities
• Design and specify all aspects of Structural works
• Producing design deliverables, including, drawings, specifications, reports and site surveys
• Liaising with clients and members of the design team to ensure progress against the project brief
• Deliver multiple projects or parts of projects to completion

Key Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards
• A degree in Structural Engineering 
• Able to develop scopes of work and delivery programmes
• Ability to manage and work to budget and program and control costs
• Experience developing Structural designs for building structures
• Excellent Structural design and analysis software knowledge is beneficial
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good understanding of current design standards and working practices
