MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR

Attention all Mechanical Site Supervisors! Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading engineering company, specialising in the water sector, in a permanent position. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting water and wastewater projects with an experienced and motivated team. Key Responsibilities: -Supervise mechanical installation and testing on site. -Ensure all mechanical safety rules are followed, and that all supporting documentation is produced in line with CMDP safety rules. -Make sure construction and safety documents are up-to-date and properly recorded. -Attend site inductions and safety briefings and perform regular safety checks on equipment. -Track and report work progress. What we’re looking for: -HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent apprenticeship with relevant experience. -Extensive experience in the Water/Wastewater industry. -Skilled in mechanical and pipework fabrication, installation, and testing (including pressure and hydrostatic testing). -Proficient in reading and working with Isometric, GA, and P&ID drawings. -SSSTS and CSCS certified. SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Attention all Senior Quantity Surveyors! We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist engineering company on a 6-month initial contract basis. Our client offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement; this will consist of 2-3 days a week in their office in Bewl. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a water treatment project, with a highly experienced and motivating team. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee quantity surveying duties throughout all project phases. -Prepare and manage cost plans, tender documents, and contracts. -Control project risk, value, and cost from inception to completion. -Provide procurement and contract advice to clients. -Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants for seamless delivery. -Deliver financial reports and strategic commercial insights to Directors. LEAD COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
