SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join a specialist water firm, in a permanent position. You will be required to work in a hybrid arrangement, with a 50% split over 2 weeks working in our client’s office in West London. This role will give you the opportunity to work on exciting water and construction projects, with a motivating and experienced team. Key Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee a team of project managers. -Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules; allocate resources efficiently. -Lead cross-functional teams across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. -Act as main liaison for clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams. -Track project performance and ensure compliance with safety, industry, and environmental standards. -Proactively manage risks and implement corrective actions. What we are looking for: -Significant experience managing complex water or construction engineering projects. -Extensive project management experience. -Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. -Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, APM) preferred. -Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. -Knowledge of UK water industry standards and regulations. Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are currently working with one of our leading clients who is looking to appoint an experienced and driven Design Manager on a contract basis. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with up to three days per week required in the client's Glasgow office. Our client is a global engineering design and build consultancy, known for delivering sustainable and innovative solutions. You will be joining an expert team working specifically on an exciting national grid project, focusing on all aspects of substation upgrades and extensions, whilst shaping the future for the national grid network! Key Responsibilities of your role: -You will play a key role in supporting the preparation of project proposals, by leading presentations and contract negotiations. Then supporting such project from concept to completion. -Be responsible for reporting regularly on the projects progress – including costs, procurement issues, potential impacts, and design questions etc. -Support the current relationships with clients, project stake holders, regulatory bodies and subcontractors. Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading engineering company, specialising in the water sector, in a permanent position. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting water and wastewater projects with an experienced and motivated team. Key Responsibilities: -Supervise mechanical installation and testing on site. -Ensure all mechanical safety rules are followed, and that all supporting documentation is produced in line with CMDP safety rules. -Make sure construction and safety documents are up-to-date and properly recorded. -Attend site inductions and safety briefings and perform regular safety checks on equipment. -Track and report work progress. What we’re looking for: -HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent apprenticeship with relevant experience. -Extensive experience in the Water/Wastewater industry. -Skilled in mechanical and pipework fabrication, installation, and testing (including pressure and hydrostatic testing). -Proficient in reading and working with Isometric, GA, and P&ID drawings. -SSSTS and CSCS certified. Attention all Senior Quantity Surveyors! We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist engineering company on a 6-month initial contract basis. Our client offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement; this will consist of 2-3 days a week in their office in Bewl. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a water treatment project, with a highly experienced and motivating team. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee quantity surveying duties throughout all project phases. -Prepare and manage cost plans, tender documents, and contracts. -Control project risk, value, and cost from inception to completion. -Provide procurement and contract advice to clients. -Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants for seamless delivery. -Deliver financial reports and strategic commercial insights to Directors.
