This role suits a senior, technically strong individual with a hands-on design background who can take full ownership of on-site design coordination. The Role You will be responsible for managing and driving all areas of MEP design through the install stage, acting as the key technical authority between consultants, subcontractors, and site teams. This is a contract role suited to a hands-on designer with strong experience in building services electrical design within live transport environments. This is a 6-month contract, offering home-based design delivery, flexible site attendance, and involvement in large-scale, mission-critical developments — including a phased 240MW data centre programme. The Opportunity This role is ideal for a senior or lead-level Electrical Design Engineer who enjoys autonomy, technical ownership, and direct client interaction. You will support: · A phased 240MW Data Centre development (Northwest) · Data Centre Due Diligence projects (Northeast) The emphasis is on practical, deliverable electrical design, not management overhead.
