Our client, a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, are on the hunt for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their well-established Consultancy, in a permanent position. Responsibilities: -Design and develop detailed building services systems, from concept through to design, with a focus on mechanical system elements. -Produce technical drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules with the use of relevant software tools, such as CAD and BIM programmes. -Work alongside multidisciplinary professionals, ensuring smooth design and model integration into project plans, promoting constructability, transparency, and efficiency. -Create concise performance analyses and calculations, for all mechanical works, with the use of simulation and modelling tools when required. -Support the assessment of low-carbon and sustainable design opportunities, propose alternative design methods, and ensure that designs comply with key requirements. REVIT MEP COORDINATOR

Your expertise and talents as a Revit MEP Coordinator could be exactly what our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is looking for. Our client is offering one skilled individual the opportunity to work on a contract basis, outside IR35, from their London office. Relative flexibility is on offer to work on-site, or on a hybrid basis, however on-site working is preferred. Join now to work on a variety of Fit-out projects, stage 5. -Competitive hourly rate of £35-£40 (depending on experience). -Flexible working arrangements (on-site presence is preferred). Responsibilities: -Produce and develop intricate MEP system models and design, for a variety of Fit-out projects, with the use of relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit. -Coordinate effective project delivery, from concept through to completion, ensuring specifications and client requirements are being followed. -Work alongside project professionals, ensuring effective and transparent communication, ensuring plans are clear and aligned with specifications. -Maintain up to date project documentation throughout all project stages, ensuring they are accurate and ready for project handover. -Liaise with stakeholders, both internal and external, clients, and other relevant professional teams to locate and resolve design issues, ensuring ongoing efficiency.
