CAD TECHNICIAN

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a skilled CAD Technician to join a well-established engineering company, in a contract position. This role will require you to work full time (5 days a week) in our client’s office in Essex. You will be playing a crucial role in the delivery of a stage 3-4 commercial fit out project. -Hourly rate ranging from £24-£27 (depending on experience). Key Responsibilities: -Create 2D and 3D CAD drawings for bespoke sheet metal enclosure designs. -Modify and revise existing drawings in line with project changes or customer feedback. -Liaise with design engineers, production teams, and project managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency. -Support prototype development through clear and accurate drafting. -Maintain drawing records and support documentation according to company procedures. -Contribute to design process improvements and standardisation. -Assist in the preparation of manufacturing documentation and bills of materials. REVIT MEP COORDINATOR

You will be required to work 5 days a week from our client’s London office. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting commercial projects, with an experienced and motivating team. -Salary ranging from £50,000-£55,000 (depending on experience). You will be required to work on a hybrid basis, attending our client’s office 3 days a week, in Hertfordshire. Key Responsibilities: -Design drainage systems using specialist software (e.g., MicroDrainage, Civil 3D). -Create and review drainage plans, calculations, and reports. -Work closely with design teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop effective solutions. -Make sure all designs meet required standards and regulations. -Support construction teams by answering technical queries and carrying out site visits. -Help with project planning, risk assessment, and quality checks.
