REVIT MEP COORDINATOR

Attention all Revit MEP Coordinators!! We are looking for a skilled Revit MEP Coordinator to join one of Europe’s leading design, engineering, environment and regulatory consultancies, in a contract position. MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are currently looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading Building Services and Infrastructure contractor, in a contract position for an initial 12 months duration. The role can be offered outside IR35 supporting one of the UKs largest rail projects with hybrid working available between the site office in North Acton and working from home. -Competitive daily rate ranging from £400 – 500 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities: -Working with other project stakeholders, consultants and sub-contractors to develop detailed mechanical design drawings. -Offering quality assurance across various design packages when applicable. -regular collaboration with design responsible consultants, offering assistance to ensure successful integration from stage 4 to 5. -Managing design documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards. -Engaging in design reviews and problem-solving discussions with a cross-functional team. What we are looking for: -Good understanding of construction stage level of design. -Experience within the rail sector is a plus, but not essential! -A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. -Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering. -Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials. -Excellent communication and collaboration skills. -A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for design innovation. This is a great opportunity to play a crucial role in stage 5 design. -Competitive salary ranging from £50,000-£70,000 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangements, company pension scheme, and generous annual leave. Key Responsibilities: -Develop and deliver electrical designs and detailed engineering documentation in line with project requirements. -Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports. -Conduct on-site visits, inspections, and surveys to assess existing systems and support design validation. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution. -Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and health and safety regulations. -Provide technical input during project planning, risk assessments, and design reviews.
