ELECTRICAL TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are happy to announce that our client is offering a new position for an experienced Electrical Technical Director to join an international mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy. Within this new permanent position, the chosen candidate will be expected to work on-site from our client’s London office. Responsibilities: -Manage the deign and delivery process within a variety of large-scale electrical projects, whilst assisting with business planning and technical delivery. -Hold responsibility for the project’s finances, managing cost proposals, ensuring that budgets are being complied with whilst promoting profitability. -Lead and guide engineering teams, helping to ensure that all work maintains high quality, compliance and overall progression. -Ensure effective communication, leadership, and overall business progression to build and maintain rapport with clients. -Supply other professionals with technical input, to ensure the project aligns with the regulations and requirements, by conducting investigations and assessments. -Act as company representation in client and industry gatherings, promoting thought leadership by developing presentations and white papers. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a focus on Electrical or Building Services, or in a related field. -Working towards, or at, a charted status (MIEE, CEng, or MCIBSE), is ideal. -Prior experience working as an Electrical Technical Director, or a similar role, with an understanding of electrical systems across a variety of building structures. -Proficient understanding of current regulations, Building Services principles, and relevant legislation (e.g. Health and Safety). -Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills, with knowledge of handling global projects. DESIGN MANAGER

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are seeking a Design Manager to join a leading engineering consultancy, on a contract basis, outside IR35. As the successful candidate, you will be required to work on-site, full-time, from our client’s West London site. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Data Centre, Health Care, and Residential projects, directing and managing a team of engineers to project completion. -Competitive day rate ranging from £450-£475 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee the execution of project designs throughout the project, ensuring that scheduling, budgets, and quality are being complied with. -Lead and direct multidisciplinary teams and sub-consultants through the project entirety, promoting collaboration and high-quality performance. -Build and maintain rapport with clients allowing for design negotiation and presentations to take place, ensuring client requirements are being met. -Ensure and maintain project documentation, observe risk and performance, and adapt plans when required. -Promote compliance with design standards and processes, as well as sustainability targets, regulations, and best practices. -Aid in the proposal and fee bidding process, as well as the promoting of business development opportunities. BIM MODELLER

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are seeking multiple BIM Modellers of various levels to be active members of a global engineering Consultancy, in a permanent position. MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis from our client’s office in Basingstoke, 2-3 days a week. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a complex healthcare project, with a great team of engineers and professionals. -Competitive day rate of £400 (depending on experience) -Hybrid working arrangement (2-3 days on-site) Responsibilities: -Design and technical review, problem-solving, and overseeing responsibilities like design management, combined with opportunities for hands-on design work. -Produce accurate mechanical designs, specifications, and calculations for building systems. -Collaborate with clients and other professionals throughout the lifespan of the projects. -Attend site visits to inspect and examine the project’s progress and ensure the design is being implemented properly. -Ensure that all designs comply with the project specifications and requirements. -Assist with the planning process of the project as well as carrying out risk assessments, and technical approvals. REVIT MEP COORDINATOR

The successful candidate will be required to work on-site from our client’s London office. Within this role, candidates will have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial fit-out projects, with a team of skilled engineers and other professionals. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £38-£40 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangement. Responsibilities: -Develop and manage coordinated MEP models for a variety of projects using Revit and Navisworks software. -Collaborate with engineers and design teams to deliver clash-free designs with complete accuracy. -Support project delivery from early design through to construction. -Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design issues. -Maintain model accuracy, compliance, and version control.
