We are seeking someone who holds prior experience and knowledge of this role to join our client in a permanent role. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of three days a week in the clients London office! Our client is a global engineering, infrastructure, and environmental consultancy firm with a focus on providing innovative solutions across various sectors, including buildings, infrastructure, energy, and the environment. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee model structure, aggregation, and refine work-sharing and data requirements as needed. -Manage and document the Information Exchange (IE) process. -Monitor model development and update Model Element Definitions as the project progresses. -Ensure adherence to the BIM Execution Plan and project standards. -Use relevant software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, 3ds Max) to create, modify, and review structural models. -Interpret architectural drawings to produce structural models, drawings, and details under engineer guidance. -Create models, layouts, drawings, schedules, and visualizations for reports, presentations, and marketing. Key Requirements: -Degree or diploma in Engineering, or a related field. -Extensive experience in a similar Revit/BIM technician role. -Proficient in Revit for 3D modelling and documentation. -Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM tools (e.g., 3ds Max, BIM 360). -Understanding of BIM workflows, coordination, and clash detection. -Experience working within BIM Execution Plans and Model Element Definitions. -Strong communication and collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities: -Organise and track project documentation (digital and physical). -Maintain a centralised filing system, ensuring version control and proper document distribution. -Assist with reports, technical documents, and drawings submissions. -Ensure compliance with document control processes. -Coordinate with teams for timely updates of documentation. -Manage document access and security. -Maintain logs for all project documents and correspondence. We are seeking someone who can bring expertise and extensive knowledge to this role, focusing on drainage and highways. The successful candidate will work in a permanent position, on a hybrid basis, with three days a week in the client South-West London office. You will also be required to travel to site when needed. Our client is a civil engineering consultancy focused on delivering innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions, serving sectors such as transport, utilities, and multi-disciplinary engineering. Key Responsibilities: -Provide specialist knowledge and design for drainage, highways, and infrastructure projects (including 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design). -Represent the team at client, contractor, and local authority meetings. -Design and gain approvals for S278/S38 highway schemes and S104/S106/S185 drainage schemes. -Prepare Flood Risk Assessments and use relevant CAD and drainage modelling software (e.g., FLOW, Microdrainage). -Deliver technical expertise, conduct Design Risk Assessments, and contribute to project hazard reviews. -Coordinate with other design functions and manage tendering processes Key Requirements: -Degree level qualification in Civil Engineering. -Chartered or working towards. -Extensive experience of working on drainage and highway design projects. -Proficient in relevant software tools. -Experience in civil design, ideally within a consultancy. -Strong communication and written skills.
